Inclusion of all age groups in the same space allows for the fluidity of learning, encouraging community based education where everyone pitches in. Studies have shown that students learn the material better when they have an opportunity to teach it to others. Following this model in art engagement, peer based and group based learning allows for younger students to have role models and older students to assume the role of mentor, teaching and finding solutions together at their own pace.
