The Traveling Sketchbook

Pack your bags and grab your sketchbook—we’re going on an artistic adventure around the world!

During this three-day camp, young artists will create their very own passports and collect stamps as they “travel” to exciting destinations across the globe. At each stop, campers will explore famous landmarks, discover unique cultures, learn about celebrated artists, taste fun snacks, and create artwork inspired by what they see and learn.

One of our destinations will be Italy, where we’ll explore the world of Leonardo da Vinci and his famous painting, the Mona Lisa. We’ll also sample a tasty Italian treat and fill our sketchbooks with inspired creations. Along the way, we’ll visit two additional countries and continue our artistic journey through culture, history, food, and art.

Throughout the camp, each child will build a personal traveling sketchbook filled with drawings, observations, and memories from every destination.

Craft Me a Story

Step into a world of imagination where stories come to life through art! In this three-day camp, young creators will build their own unique worlds, draw maps, design original characters, and explore visual storytelling through sketching and creative activities.

Campers will develop a story from the ground up, then bring a favorite character or important object from their world to life in clay. After firing, students are invited to return during an Open Pottery Open Studio session to glaze their sculpture and add the finishing touches.

Perfect for imaginative kids who love drawing, storytelling, fantasy, and creating with their hands. No experience necessary—just bring your creativity! ✨📖🎨🏺
