DESCRIPTION:Art After School is Back! Join Miss Jess in this 12 week after school class that focuses on providing a creative and emotional outlet in diverse mediums  for students. \nOriginal programming. discussion and student interest guide the program. With the Long X Arts Foundation\, your child will receive hands-on\, interactive\, original programming that is specifically tailored to your child’s interests and abilities. This could include but is not limited to: ceramic arts\, glass fusion\, painting\, egg tempera\, sculpting\, drawing\, collage\, calligraphy\, journaling\, starring in a music video\, moving our bodies to music\, fiber arts\, games\, and much more! \n12 week class\n3:45-5:30 PM\nRough Rider Center Lower Level\nThursdays (class full):  September 15 – December 8\n(excluding Thanksgiving Day)\nand/or\nTuesdays:  September 20 – December 6 \nOpen either or both days a week for Kindergarten and up. \nInclusion of all age groups in the same space allows for the fluidity of learning\, encouraging community based education where everyone pitches in. Studies have shown that students learn the material better when they have an opportunity to teach it to others.
