Join us for an immersive experience into the world of clay art at the Long X Arts Foundation Gallery. This event promises to elevate your artistry skills to a whole new level.

At the Clay Creations Open Studio, you will have the chance to explore the wonderfully tactile world of clay. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, the open studio offers a welcoming space to learn, experiment, and hone your skills. You will have the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals and share creative ideas, encouraging a free flow of inspiration. Ticket includes instructions, firing, tools, and all required supplies, as well as 1.5 lbs of clay. For bigger projects, clay is an additional $5/lb. Techniques offered include pinch pots, slab building, and coil building (please note that this class does not include wheel throwing).

The open studio is not just about creating art; it’s about experiencing it. You will be able to feel the clay in your hands, shape it to your will, and witness the transformation of a raw lump of clay into a beautiful piece of art. The event aims to create a nurturing environment that encourages creativity and artistic expression.

Clay pieces are fired in our kiln and available to be glazed a week later at our next Open Studio.
