DESCRIPTION:Join Long X Arts Foundation for a unique opportunity to sketch live horses in a beautiful ranch setting at Best Angus & Quarter Horses. \nWhether you’re an experienced artist or just looking to improve your observational drawing skills\, this class offers the chance to slow down\, connect with nature\, and draw from life. Horses are constantly shifting and moving\, making them wonderful subjects for practicing gesture\, proportion\, and capturing movement. \n📅 Date: September 12\n🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM\n💲 Cost: $40\n🎨 Instructor: Oksana \nWhat to Bring\nThis class will be held outdoors\, so please come prepared for the elements.\nWe recommend bringing: \n\n☀️ Sun hat\n🧴 Sunscreen\n🦟 Bug spray\n💧 Plenty of water\n\nIf you have a pair of binoculars\, feel free to bring them! You’ll have beautiful views of the North Dakota Badlands\, and they can be fun to use during breaks. \nPlease Be Animal Aware\nWe are grateful to Best Angus & Quarter Horses for welcoming us onto their ranch. While the horses are accustomed to people\, they are still animals. Please give them space\, follow any instructions given during class\, and treat them with respect at all times. \nLocation Information\nThe ranch is located approximately 15 miles outside of town\, about a 30-minute drive. \nThe exact address and driving directions will be sent after registration. \nPlease note that the 10:00 AM–12:00 PM class time does not include travel time\, so plan accordingly to arrive a few minutes early. \nWhether you’re hoping to improve your sketching skills\, spend time outdoors\, or simply enjoy the company of fellow artists\, this class promises a memorable morning of creativity in a truly special setting. \nWe can’t wait to sketch with you!
